Terms of Use & Privacy Policy

JUNIPER TECHNOLOGIES INC. (“us”,”we”,or “our”) operates the Juniper application (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data, and outlines the acceptable terms of use of our Service. We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, the terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.

Definitions

Service
Service is the Juniper application operated by JUNIPER TECHNOLOGIES INC.

Personal Data
Personal Data means data about a living individual who can be identified from those data (or from those and other information either in our possession or likely to come into our possession).

Usage Data is data collected automatically either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service Infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

In this case, you understand and agree that JUNIPER TECHNOLOGIES INC will treat your use of the Service as acceptance of the Terms from that point onwards.

Your Profile Information and Account
You agree that JUNIPER TECHNOLOGIES INC. is providing you with one user identification reference that you shall use to create a username and password (together, the “User ID”) to the extent, and only to the extent,necessary to access and use the Service in accordance with this Agreement. You agree and understand that you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your User ID. That User ID, together with any or other user information you provide, will form your “Profile Information” and allow you to access your account (“Account”). You will provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself, and you agree not to misrepresent your Profile Information. You represent and warrant to JUNIPER TECHNOLOGIES INC. that you have not misrepresented any Profile Information. You are responsible for any Profile Information that may be lost or unrecoverable through the use of the Service.

Prohibited Use of the Service
No Viruses or Malware. You agree not to upload, post, email or otherwise send or transmit or introduce any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, harm, damage, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or equipment linked directly or indirectly with the Service. You agree not to interfere with the servers or networks underlying or connected to the Service or to violate any of the procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to the Service. You may not access the Service in an unauthorized manner. No Improper Conduct. You agrees not to upload, post, email or otherwise send or transmit any content that (a) infringes, misappropriates or violates a third party’s patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, moral rights or other intellectual property rights, or right of publicity or privacy; (b) violates or encourages any conduct that would violate any applicable law or regulation or that would give rise to liability; (c) is fraudulent, false, misleading or deceptive; (d) is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, vulgar or offensive; (e) promotes discrimination, bigotry, racism, hatred, harassment or harm against any individual or group; (f) is violent or threating or promotes violence or actions that are threatening to any person or entity; or (g) promotes illegal or harmful activities or substances.

Information Collection and Use
We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you. Warranty & Disclaimer
Company shall use reasonable efforts consistent with prevailing industry standards to maintain the Services in a manner which minimizes errors and interruptions in the Services and shall perform the Implementation Services in a professional and workmanlike manner. Services may be temporarily unavailable for scheduled maintenance or for unscheduled emergency maintenance, either by Company or by third-party providers, or because of other causes beyond Company’s reasonable control, but Company shall use reasonable efforts to provide advance notice in writing or by e-mail of any scheduled service disruption. HOWEVER, COMPANY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR FREE; NOR DOES IT MAKE ANY WARRANTY AS TO THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM USE OF THE SERVICES. Limitation of Liability
NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY, EXCEPT FOR BODILY INJURY OF A PERSON, COMPANY AND ITS SUPPLIERS (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ALL EQUIPMENT AND TECHNOLOGY SUPPLIERS), OFFICERS, AFFILIATES, REPRESENTATIVES, CONTRACTORS AND EMPLOYEES SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE WITH RESPECT TO ANY SUBJECT MATTER OF THIS AGREEMENT OR TERMS AND CONDITIONS RELATED THERETO UNDER ANY CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHER THEORY: (A) FOR ERROR OR INTERRUPTION OF USE OR FOR LOSS OR INACCURACY OR CORRUPTION OF DATA OR COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS, SERVICES OR TECHNOLOGY OR LOSS OF BUSINESS; (B) FOR ANY INDIRECT, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; (C) FOR ANY MATTER BEYOND COMPANY’S REASONABLE CONTROL; OR (D) FOR ANY AMOUNTS THAT, TOGETHER WITH AMOUNTS ASSOCIATED WITH ALL OTHER CLAIMS, EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY CUSTOMER TO COMPANY FOR THE SERVICES UNDER THIS AGREEMENT IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE ACT THAT GAVE RISE TO THE LIABILITY, IN EACH CASE, WHETHER OR NOT COMPANY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the “effective date” at the top of this Privacy Policy.
